Are you a science communicator? Get in touch and be kept in the loop about upcoming communication opportunities.
The TAS Farm Innovation Hub is seeking a pool of experienced science communicators to help us translate existing research into accessible resources that help build preparedness for drought and climate variability in Tasmanian agriculture. We’re looking for people with flexibility and availability for short-term, targeted projects. Experience in agriculture and/or natural resource management science communication is preferred.
What’s involved?
The Hub is piloting a program to support staff from the University of Tasmania develop and/or translate their existing research into accessible resources for end users (e.g. farmers, industry associations, extension professionals and service providers).
An expression of interest process will be run across the university for staff to pitch their ideas, and we’ll match-make successful applicants with the right science communication skills to develop resources that meet industry needs.
How can I be kept in the loop?
