Breakfast Workshop

This targeted workshop will support confident decisions on cattle nutrition and winter feeding of breeders and young stock.

Presenters: Liz Mann (Dairy Tas) and Symon Jones (TIA)
Topics include:
Nutritional requirements for both beef and dairy now and through winter and spring.
Prioritising nutritional needs of different classes of stock.
Cost to meet these requirements.
Decision making for future feeding and destocking needs.
Spaces strictly limited, registrations essential.

This program received funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.

The Australian Government is contributing $12.4 million over 4 years through the Future Drought Fund under various grants. Hub partners and the University of Tasmania will provide co-contributions of an amount at least equal to the Australian Government funding over the same period.
