The TAS Farm Innovation Hub, Ag Logic and Pinion Advisory invite you to attend a series of workshop as part of a series on irrigated soils. These workshops are suitable for primary producers interested in understanding how soil moisture data can inform on-farm practice. There are two parts to each workshop across the locations. Utilising experience and principles relevant to the different regions - Richmond, Longford, Burnie, Scottsdale, and Swansea.
Informing irrigation scheduling decisions workshops Richmond 12 & 26 February, 2025
Workshop 1 - 12 February, 9am -12.30pm
Will focus on building knowledge about irrigating different soil types and the interactions with different plant species.
Workshop 2 -26 February, 9am-12.30pm
Will cover what data can be used to make informed irrigation decisions, tools available to support scheduling and strategies for when things don’t go right.
