WORKSHOP LINKING CLIMATE DATA WITH FARM MANAGEMENT

Join the TAS Farm Innovation Hub and Resilient Farming Tas for a workshop linking farm management challenges, climatic projections, and the things you can do to prepare for them – including readying for opportunities.

Tom Remenyi (Acclimatised) will explain weather forecasting, seasonal outlooks, and climate projections specific to Tasmanian orchards. This is followed by an interactive workshop discussing climate resilience strategies with other farmers to support managing for future climate variability.

Funding & AcknowledgmentS

This program received funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.

The Australian Government is contributing $12.4 million over 4 years through the Future Drought Fund under various grants. Hub partners and the University of Tasmania will provide co-contributions of an amount at least equal to the Australian Government funding over the same period.
