Northern Midlands Paddock Walk for farmers and natural resource management practitioners
Join Tasmanian Land Conservancy and the TAS Farm Innovation Hub for a unique opportunity to visit Milford, a 1,875-hectare mixed farming enterprise in the Northern Midlands. On this paddock walk we’ll look at three native vegetation sites, discuss different approaches to manage revegetation of farms, and explore biodiversity monitoring, utilising the project developed invertebrate habitat assessment tool.
This event is an excellent opportunity to see revegetation in action and understand how restoring native vegetation can positively impact farming ecosystems.
